Today Electronics and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad innaugrated the three day summit of National Meet on Grassroot Informatics VIVID 2018 at India Habitat Center

Inaugurating the summit Minister said that India should take a leadership position in the global digital revolution and become a key centre for data innovation as well as low-cost cyber security products.

Stressing the importance of data in a nation of 121 crore mobile phones, he said that India should become an important centre globally for data innovation and data development.

Digital India can only grow via open source

ZTE releases industry’s first 5G E2E network slicing solution

Chinese telecommunications giant ZTE said that it has released the world’s first 5G E2E network slicing solution.

The release will push forward the technical maturity of the 5G commercial system to a new level, lay a solid foundation for the new mode of 5G slice-based network operation, build up the capability of NSaaS(Network Slice as a Service), and continuously lead the 5G application innovation for the vertical industry.

The solution also incorporates a policy engine empowered by AI to continuously improve the intelligent operation and service assurance capabilities of the 5G network.
